Kindrie Grove Art Studio

Picture
Thank you to our special visitor Kindrie Grove who brought her art
studio into our preschool on Feb 16-17. Kindrie taught the children how to do monoscreening, charcoal art and she also brought in clay for the children
to make a creation to take home and paint. It is so amazing to see the
children that don't usually do art get so excited about the things
that Kindrie taught us. Please come in and look at the art displayed
on each bulletin board.

We all loved having your art studio at our school and thank you again!
Also thank you to the parent volunteers each class, we appreciate it!

BC Paramedic Ambulance Field Trip

Picture
Our Ambulance station field trip Feb 20-21 was a huge success. The children were so excited to visit the different areas of the station. Some were surprised that the paramedics have bedrooms and a real kitchen and living room.  Others were most excited to see the back of the ambulance and sit on the stretcher. We got to see many different things the paramedics wear to keep them safe and the children also got to try on a neck brace and slings. The biggest highlight of our field trip was sitting in the driver's seat and turning on the lights, sirens and horns.  Two friends have told us that they want to be "ambulance drivers" when they grow up (they don't want to be a paramedic and do that `other stuff` -- they just want to drive the ambulance).  This has been a great learning experience for our preschool and we thank the Penticton Ambulance Station for having us.
Thank you to all of the parents volunteers!!!
