Village by the Station -

We had an amazing trip to the Village by the Station. The senior
complex is our neighbour so we decided it was important to be great
neighbours and walk over to sing to all of the Seniors and staff. We showcased many of our favorite songs which put a smile on so many of their faces and made their day.  One class had the pleasure of listening to the Misfits play and many of us got up to dance along to the music.

Other classes enjoyed books read by the staff and also a special treat of juice and train cookies, baked and decorated especially for us by the seniors!  We were asked many times to come back soon!  Next year we plan on creating a closer relationship with the seniors by making the
Village by the Station a regular field trip for our classes!
